These are great looking buns. I like the non traditional type of crosses. I am sure these taste great. I love your idea of a big brunch. I can eat breakfast meals at any time of day.

I’ll have you know I actually made Hot Cross Buns several times through the years because the good Eugene bakeries didn’t make them. Yours look so much better than the ones I used to make. Must be the Brioche dough.

YUM! I haven’t figured out my menu yet but I’ll be sticking to traditional French fare: leg of lamb, haricots verts… not sure about the rest though…
